Regardless of what is actually going on – most businesses and, their teams and their leadership units always believe they are “up against it” in terms of what they need to get done.
And that is why most business fail or never really reach their potential.
There is always pressure – that is a given, it doesn’t change, yet people’s attitude and ability to handle it changes on an almost hourly basis. More often than not this feeling of drowning comes from a lack of clarity and a lack of priorities – they are just busy doing stuff – unable to see what they should be doing and in what order.
Process is vital but in a busy workplace it is often the first thing to go.
